I am absolutley happy, just a bit sad that I didn’t found you alot sooner. I have gone through the ringers and back. I am a one army woman that’s very comapssionate and my moto to others such as volunteers, that come to me that volunteering isn’t a job IT’S a PASSION.
I unfortunately wasn’t able to download your Articles, however typed every word myself. I owe you CHRIS and promise that I will donate. I read what you posted also as far as you aren’t seeking anyone to pay your bills. But let me be FRANK, you deserve it! If it were the case.

A while back almost a year now, a woman came to me stating that she would prepare everything for me and I could pay once everything was completed but to no prevail she failed by not doing it at all. She had all of my plans and ideas and notified me of the completeness, however I tried contacting her countless times, to arrange a day and time to pick the docs..up, NO ANSWER. Wow what an UNCLASSLESS ACT.

So you see CHRIS this is why you are set apart from all the wolves.

For the record I searched books, the web, and in person contacts for a little over a year before coming in contact with Chris and his site. I can tell you with all honesty, this guy/site is the most effective and honest Ive come to know.

We submitted our 1023 application on January 29, 2015 and were granted our 501(c)(3) status on February 10, 2015 – an unprecedented short turn around time! We did request expedited processing, explaining that funding would not be likely absent official tax exempt status, but did not provide any corresponding letters of support from our prospective funders. We did not anticipate such a quick turn around and only learned that our application was successful when we called the IRS to ask a procedural question (well worth the 1 1/2 hour wait to get a live person). After answering our question, the IRS representative looked up our status and congratulated us. We received the confirmation letter later that day. I doubt that we would have had such immediate success without your excellent guidance. Thank you!! (P.S. We donated right after we submitted our form).

Hi Chris! This message is long overdue but I want to thank you so much for all the help you gave me in reviewing my 1040 application. It was such a daunting and complex application and I was so happy to have this web site and your assistance. I know scheduling calls between the U.S. and Africa wasn’t easy and the connection not always good but you were very patient. I am now happy to report that after about 100 days our application has been approved.

I think your website is a great source of documents for starting a nonprofit.

I notice that the IRS-based document provided (A Complete Guide…) is missing page 6-1. I do now know if this is very crucial, but I thought I would point that out for future revisions.

It’s been our bible for a couple months now as we slowly trudge through Form 1023 – we have even acquired an appreciation for all the questions they ask. We will def be using your review service! I just learnt so much that I dint think it was possible to do by myself without an attorney.

I just wanted to let you know that our non-profit AKUN in Alaska got the determination letter from the IRS yesterday… granting us tax-exemption 501c3 status. No questions or addendum were asked.

First, the monumental contribution you have established here for the benefit of nonprofit starters is staggering and inexplicably astonishing to me. For more than four years, I have been engaged exclusively in volunteer work without generating a dime of income from it. I was compelled to make the choice of not having a normal job with a salary and benefits because it left no time to fulfill the commitment to serve the phenomenal groups of people I love so much. However, the privilege of being allowed to serve and volunteer in this capacity IS the benefit. Perhaps, I should say benefits.

Thank you so much for the brain cramps I’m suffering having read every word of each chapter on your website. I just finished -Instructions For IRS Form 1023 Part X – Public Charity Status-and am now suspended in some dazed like trance from having understood NOTHING. Not a word. Zero comprehension of what I reviewed again and again. I rocketed to the heights of hysteria because frankly, my woefully inadequate intelligence level was that awful yet marvelously entertaining. Thank God I can laugh at my own mediocrity. I love that after reading and reviewing each chapter, somehow, I am dumber.

But seriously. THANK YOU for all of this information. I cannot afford lawyer fees or an accountant. Or anything else. (Another story for another time.) It may take two years for me to grasp everything and assemble the first draft of my application. Ha!!!! But I am determined to finish. If for no other reason than you making all of this information available to get it done. Okay. I think I’m done commenting. P.S. It’s not that I hate math. I hate that math has never made any sense to me. So grateful for my high school calculous teacher who honestly understand that proofs could’ve been in Chinese and I wouldn’t have noticed anything different. He passed me. I majored in Creative Writing and Theology, so you can imagine I find myself back in Mr. Chandler’s calculous class. Dazed and confused. No Mr. Chandler. But Mr. IRS. Lord, help me.

Using your templates along with a lot of original material, I prepared
the 501c3 application for SWAT, LTD (Saving Whiskers And Tails), an
animal rescue, rehab and rehoming group of volunteers in Pryor, OK. It
has only been 6 weeks, and we did not request any expedited
consideration, but already today we received our 501c3 approval in the
mail!!!! If you’d like a copy for your files of successes, I’ll send
you a copy.
